U.S. Dream Academy
U.S. Dream Academy is based on the pillars of skill-building, character-building and dream-building. AmeriCorps members will supervise youth in a safe and caring environment with daily homework assistance and academic enrichment activities, including a variety of lessons, from one-on-one tutoring to development and coordination of different “classes” such as financial literacy and health. AmeriCorps members will also communicate with parents by writing and sending newsletters with updates on student activities.
