Southwest Key Program
The Southwest Key Program (SWK) is a shelter for unaccompanied immigrant minors. The mission of SWK is to welcome young people and help them achieve their dreams. The program’s main concern is reunifying immigrant minors with their families in the United States. The program provides medical, counseling, case worker, and education services to all minors entering the program.
NDA members serve as Youth Support Assistants. Members provide encouragement and support to clients through one on one or small group interaction. Members assist in the classroom, assist vocation and recreation coordinators, and provide supervision. Spanish is a requirement for this position.
