Raising A Village Foundation
AmeriCorps member for Raising A Village Foundation supports the program administration and logistics for the Driven 2 Succeed program and other Education projects as assigned by the Executive Director. Responsibilities include supervising Driven Student Guides (DSGs), planning and implementing in-school programs, coordinating Driven 2 Succeed events, including but not limited to, orientations, celebration days, seminars, field trips, networking events, and professional development opportunities for DSGs, and serving as primary contact for teachers and community partners. The AmeriCorps member will also get to work with DSGs in the tutoring of young children as part of the week-day after-school homework help program. There are one to two positions at Raising A Village Foundation available each service year.
