Ocean Discovery Institute
The Ocean Discovery Institute uses ocean science to deliver high quality STEM education to communities in the City Heights area in San Diego. Three ODI programs engage middle school students, young adult leaders, and community members in outdoor, hands-on learning.
NDA members assist with the environmental education programs offered by ODI. Through the School-Based Initiative members are trained to support teacher-lead classroom lessons by providing hands-on classroom activities and outdoor laboratory lessons for 3rd-6th graders.
