Big Laurel Learning Center
Located in Kermit, West Virginia, BLLC
Big Laurel Learning Center is located on top of a mountain, on a 400 acre environmental land trust, in rural Mingo County, West Virginia. This position will include, but is not limited to, hospitality for visiting college students, cooking for large groups, community outreach, youth education, ecology summer camps, and caring for the land. Members are encouraged to live on site, in the Big Laurel community. Must care about social and environmental issues, be comfortable working outdoors, enjoy both solitude and large groups, and willing to drive on rural roads. Sense of humor and adventurous spirit are a must.
