Hartford &
New Haven, Connecticut
Hartford and New Haven are two of Connecticut’s most impoverished cities, rich in ethnic diversity. Members serve in two Nativity-Miguel Network tuition free middle schools, whose motivation is the belief that education breaks the cycle of poverty. Members work under the guidance of mentor teachers and teach small classes, conduct co-curricular activities and field trips and are an integral part of the school community. The schools run on an extended day program and classes continue in the summer.
